47 Million People Can’t Wait Anymore! That is the approximate total of Americans that are without Health Insurance. On Sept. 8, 2008, a symposium entitled, “The US Healthcare System in Crisis: Achieving Universal Coverage,” was held at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, in Baltimore, MD. One of the speakers was attorney Joel Segal. He is the Senior Health Legislative Assistant to the Hon. John Conyers, Jr. (D-MI). Rep.
