On Sept. 8, 2008, a symposium entitled, “The US Healthcare System in Crisis: Achieving Universal Coverage,” was held at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, in Baltimore, MD. One of the speakers was attorney Joel Segal. He is the Senior Health Legislative Assistant to the Hon. John Conyers, Jr. (D-MI). Rep.
