Did Rush Limbaugh Have the Nerve to Compare the Iowa Flood Victims to the then Hurricane Katrina Refugees? First of all why are the victims of the Iowa flooding being called victims by the media, while the victims of Hurricane Katrina were called refugees by the media? The authorities have sped to assist these residents which is much different than the government’s response to Hurricane Katrina. Is there not a limit to his racist rants? Much of what was heard on the happenings in Hurricane Katrina were exaggerated! Mr. Limbaugh, did you remember that New Orleans’ residents were prohibited from leaving New Orleans? The people in Iowa can just drive away! He called Iowa the heartland and backbone of America. Was Rush using code language? Did he just want to say those good white folks in Iowa are more honorable than the black residents of New Orleans?
