  1. Oprah covered herself After having Barack Obama and his wife on the show, by saying she’s not going to use her show as a political platform for the presidential race. It’s her show, and she has every right Not to have Sarah Palin on her show, but it doesn’t say much for Oprah’s integrety. As Abraham Lincoln said, “You can fool All of the people Some of the time, and Some of the people All of the time, but you can’t fool All of the people All of the time.” Thank you Oprah, for finally showing your true colors. It’s about time that people see you for what you really are.

  2. Margie, Ms. Winfrey has shown that she doesn’t have to jump when you right wingers say jump! Go Oprah!

    Obama/Biden 08!

  4. Plain and simple. Oprah Windfrey is too cowardly to have Sarah Palin as a guest on her show BEFORE the election. She is afraid that it will put her buddy Obama in jeapordy. Glug Glug, Oprah’s kool aid is beginning to taste a little bitter. And to midsouthblack..YOU are too cowardly to allow negative comments about your Mistress Oprah, to stay on here. You’re just as cowardly as she is.

  5. Margie are you too scared to face your closet points of views that just may reveal you to be a racist?

  6. midsouthblack,
First of all, I believe that God made and loves all races of people, so I won’t say that I’m a racist, but even if I were, a white racist is no worse than a black racist, which you may be from the looks of things here. Even the name of your website shows racism, but that’s ok, right? After all it says black and not white. Double standards, both for you and Oprah and most (not all) of the black community. Someone needs to say it, so I will.

  7. Margie last time I checked I didn’t have to get your permission before I started this blog. I chose to start this blog to combat many negative stereotypes of black people, and I also sought to give a viewpoint on today’s news for those of us who are black. Blogging Black.Com presents my thoughts as a black man in America! Obama will win, and we will see what you will say then!

  8. Mr.midsouthblack,
I don’t recall ever saying that you have to ask my permission to do Anything. But…you do have this blog and it IS open to the public, and I have just been giving my opinion about Oprah Winfrey and her refusal to have Sarah Palin as a guest on her show. I know where you stand on the subject of Oprah, and on the subject of black versus white. This is still a free country, and I can still have my opinions about things, but if you don’t want me posting them here, then that fine with me. I’m sure I won’t be coming here very often anyway. As for whether or not Mr. Obama wins the presidency, THAT still remains to be seen. If he does win, then I hope we can all live with the way he governs. Even though you and Obama may both be of African descent, that doesn’t mean that he has all of your best interests at heart. I hope that none of us regrets the way we cast our vote in November. I’m sure I won’t. I hope you don’t. Thanks for your time.

  9. Where did the free country stuff come from? We will not cry if you don’t return, yet we are not advocating that you don’t. How can you say that Senator Obama doesn’t have my best interests at heart? Has any other President had my best interests at heart? Did President Bush have my best interest at heart? I think not!

  10. I have been praying for Oprah the last few months, especially with her religious beliefs.

Now that she has politically made a choice that is so bad for our country and for woman, I am concerned at the influence she has.

She has a right to her opinion, but with her influence, she should not try to sway others.

Yes, she has showed her true colors.

She has been so blessed, but all be taken away in a heartbeat.

    Please Oprah, WAKE UP!
