  1. Even though I have a relationship with God, I agree with most of the comments made on here. There are some things that I agree with Ms. Bynum on but I have to say that in my heart of hearts and in my spirit, I would not put her on a pedestal of any kind. I will NOT judge her but I know that there is not a tugging for me to receive from her. While there are some black ministers that I can receive from, some have made it hard and really hurtful to know that they are living high on the hog and then have people that are struggling financially but finding a way to support their ministry. I have lost faith in the black church because of my experiences and what I’ve seen in the media. If a preacher has huge homes, planes, etc., there is no reason for anyone in their congregations to be homeless, in poverty, or without anything. It seems like if I really want to get my boogy on, get messages about getting rich quick, being an entrepeneur (that may not be my purpose). I now chose to go to a church where I know the teaching I’m getting is based on the word of God and not preached with a man’s attitude behind the message.
I’m sorry, I’m not impressed with all the fluff. If you have a mulit-million dollar home, how are you blessing others that are less fortunate? Why do you bless the ones who already have millions?

  2. in response to the comment that allrenellis says. In my opinion that comment is crap . Now could a person that has never had anything tell and show me how to gain prosperity if they don’t practice it themselves? NOPE! Do you go to a doctor that has no experience and no degree? NOPE! okay. Why would you go to a church where that pastor is broke the members are broke, the community in which the church is located is broke, whats gonna draw the people? Poverty? Naw,Naw,Naw! Don’t you know what flows from the head happens in the body. If you attend a church where the word is righlty divided, don’t the bible say that “my father in heaven owns EVERYTHING”! Does that sound like GOD is broke? You need to seek God for Healing from you past church pain and hurt, because that was garbage.

  3. I understand what the two previous people have said. i.e. the first person if the Pastor is prosperous then you should be able to see it in the congregation, and the second person that if the Pastor is going to preach prosperity then he needs to be able to have something to show for it to the unprosperous that come into the church. My comment is only valid due to my experiences. I personally am a student and with students most time than most money does not even come into the equation let alone prosperity. But when i started going to my recent church of about year, my pastor taught prosperity. And not just prosperit in the sense of money because when your talking about just money in regards to be prosperity your not incorrect but you definately are incomplete, there are many different aspects to prosperity, divine health, sound mind, healthy relationships, money etc. When my Pastor started teaching me he showed me how to make my way prosperous. We as children of the King are not charity cases, our Pastors are not our crutches. God alone is our provider, and the sooner we realise that the sooner we take our eyes of those that have an understanding into how to make their way prosperous and stop judging them for our lack. The bible says in Joshua 1:8 ‘This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success’. Prosperity is in us, we make our own way prosperous, The Lord has given us everything we need to pertain to life and godliness. 2Peter1:3. We all need to start hearing the true Word of God preached, and starting studying to showing ourselves approved, having no need to be ashamed but rightly dividing the word of God. Stay blessed Family

  4. Why, are the ladies yelling, and talking at the same time? Yuanita Bynum and the lady seated at the far right are the only two calm ones? Some people take God’s words as a joke. Like some of the women on the panel. It is better to be holy than burn. God is no play toy and God is no play boy. You suffer in the long run when you are disobedient to God’s words.
